How do I make a claim ?

In the unfortunate event of an accident, AutoSecure personnel will guide you step-by-step through the entire process of filing for and redeeming your insurance funds. You will have enough to worry about in the aftermath of the accident; we will make sure that the entire process is smooth and that you get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible.

In case of an accident, please get in touch with your AutoSecure relationship manager and have the following documents at hand:

  • Copy of driving license
  • Copy of registration card / Mulkia
  • Original police report
  • Insurance policy
  • If the car is a company owned vehicle, then you will also need to keep the company’s rubber stamp handy

First of all, you will have to fill out the claims form. The insurance company will want to take photographs and inspect the vehicle closely for their records. If your policy includes the agency repair service, you will be instructed to take your car to the dealer’s agency for repairs. Otherwise, the company will give you a list of authorized private garages, of which you can choose any one.

Before any repair work begins, do ensure that the repair costs are approved by the insurance company. Once the repairs are done, make sure you take your vehicle out for a test drive and sign the delivery papers only once you are completely satisfied with the its condition.
